Conan Exiles Enhanced is live now on Steam, giving Funcom’s long-running survival game its biggest technical overhaul since launch, and the best bit is that existing owners do not need to pay for it.
The free update moves Conan Exiles into Unreal Engine 5, giving the game improved visuals, better lighting, upgraded character and environment detail, refreshed effects, performance improvements, a new UI, and a round of quality-of-life changes. In short, it is the sort of update that makes you wonder whether you should reinstall the thing just to see how much shinier all the murder and misery now looks.
The timing is neat, too. Conan Exiles originally launched on May 8, 2018, meaning this Enhanced update arrives just a few days before the game’s eighth anniversary. Funcom says more than 15 million players have entered the brutal Robert E. Howard-inspired world since then, which is a lot of people being chased around the desert while trying to remember where they left their trousers.
The big change, beyond the exciting move to Unreal Engine 5, is how Conan Exiles now handles its two major maps. For the first time, The Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah can exist as part of one connected experience. Isle of Siptah is still a separate purchase, but players who own it can now travel between both regions without starting a fresh character or selecting a different map at launch.
That should be a particularly big deal for multiplayer servers, which can now support both maps at the same time. For players who have spent years building, raiding, crafting, and being deeply suspicious of everyone nearby, it massively expands the sense of scale.
Funcom is also targeting 60 FPS and above across Low, Medium, High, and Ultra settings on most PCs, while also promising strong Steam Deck performance for those who prefer their barbarian survival with a side order of handheld battery anxiety.
Conan Exiles Enhanced is available now as a free upgrade for all Steam owners. At the moment, there are no confirmed plans to bring the Enhanced update to consoles, the Epic Games Store, or the Windows Store, although Funcom and Inflexion Games say future platform releases are being evaluated.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
