Fortnite x Harry Potter — Release date, skins, estimated price, and more

This winter, Fortnite will bring Harry Potter skins. The skins will be released during the Winterfest event, and Epic Games has already revealed their release date. In addition to this, the game developer provided more details about these cosmetics, and we even got an early look at one of the skins ahead of the release.

Epic has confirmed the Winterfest event for Thursday, December 18. The event will go live right after the update, which will be the last one in 2025. Fortunately, Harry Potter skins will be released shortly after, as you’ll be able to grab them with the first shop reset of the event.

When will Harry Potter skins come to Fortnite?

Harry Potter skins will come to Fortnite on Thursday, December 18, at 7 PM Eastern Time. There will be 10 customizable skins, according to Epic, as you’ll be able to choose which house you want to represent.

Unfortunately, the price hasn’t been revealed yet, but we expect each skin to cost 1,500 to 1,800 V-Bucks. Furthermore, Epic will likely release a couple of skin bundles, giving you a huge discount for purchasing multiple skins at once.

For now, it’s unknown whether or not characters like Harry Potter and Hermione Granger will come to Fortnite. However, it appears that that is not the case, as the collaboration will include a variety of customizable skins that you can use to create your own character.

The Winterfest event will bring many free rewards, including two new skins. Considering that the Harry Potter collaboration has gained a lot of attention, we expect new cosmetics to be available for at least two weeks. The winter-themed event is expected to conclude in early January, just after Epic’s winter break.
