The Boruto series has seen the introduction of some of the most powerful ninjas over the years. Ever since the beginning of the Two Blue Vortex sequel to the original Boruto story, the manga has seen an influx of overpowered characters, and with them come incredibly powerful abilities as well.

In a world where strength is what matters, strong abilities are always going to be incredibly important, and both Kishimoto and Ikemoto have done a phenomenal job when it comes to establishing these abilities in the story. With the next generation on the rise in Two Blue Vortex, a lot of incredible powers have been revealed to the fans, including those of the Karma, among many others.

Boruto’s Flying Thunder God

Boruto Uzumaki developed greatly over the three-year timeskip that took place at the end of the original Boruto series. In Two Blue Vortex, he is incredibly powerful and has developed a plethora of new abilities. One of the most impressive powers that Boruto Uzumaki has gained in Two Blue Vortex is Flying Thunder God. To be clear, Boruto’s Flying Thunder God is very different from that of Minato. In essence, these two techniques work very differently, but Boruto still names it the Flying Thunder God.

Boruto’s version of this jutsu allows him to infuse his own chakra into certain metals of various shapes. By imagining their shapes and feeling his chakra over vast distances, Boruto Uzumaki can immediately teleport to the said metals. This gives him an incredible edge in battle. Using this ability, Boruto has shown incredible teleportation skills in the new manga, as well as phenomenal combat speed. He can even teleport in the midst of the battle to surprise his enemies and deliver a crushing blow, as seen when he faced off against Matsuri. While his skill is not on the level of the 4th or the 2nd Hokage when it comes to teleportation, he is still a stronger ninja than both.

Inojin’s Mind Body Transmission Formation

The Yamanaka clan have always been phenomenal sensors and have used the mind-body transmission for decades, if not even longer. However, Inojin Yamanaka, the next generation of this clan, has perfected this technique and taken it to a whole new level, calling it the Mind-body Transmission Formation.

Inojin Yamanaka developed this jutsu in just one day in the Mamushi arc of the Boruto series, and it is quite easily one of the most impressive powers that exists in the series. Essentially, Inojin uses his powers to link to a select few individuals and uses them as a receiver for chakra. Any vibration around them is immediately picked up by Inojin, and they almost act like sonars. This technique was especially developed to counter the threat of the Shinju, who can wipe out their chakra presence completely. Even though their chakra cannot be sensed, their personal frequency still can be picked up utilizing Inojin’s ability, as he essentially turns people into live sonars and gets a clear picture of anyone who interferes with the barrier that he sets. This technique does not have any utility in combat, but when it comes to boosting the defenses of Konoha as a whole, it is quite easily one of the most powerful in the story and certainly deserves credit.

Mamushi’s Division

One of the most fierce abilities that Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has introduced to the fans is Mamushi’s division power. This power is rather similar to the shadow clone in a way, but also way more dangerous and powerful. When one utilizes the power of Shadow Clone and splits themselves into two, their chakra is also split in half, as is their strength, and just about any other stat that they possess. Mamushi’s division ability is very different in that regard. Unlike Shadow Clone, when Mamushi splits himself, his chakra is not halved at all, and neither is his strength or ability to do anything. It is a perfect copy of Mamushi, just as strong as the original, and the scariest part about this power is that Mamushi can divide infinitely.

Jura’s Tailed Beast Beam

When it comes to the powers of the Shinju, the strongest of them all has been demonstrated by none other than Jura, their leader. Jura is the incarnation of the Ten Tails in the Boruto series, and it goes without saying that he is tremendously powerful. It is stated in the story that he is even stronger than Isshiki Otsutsuki, given that there is absolutely no hope of survival against him for humanity.

Jura has utilized quite a few abilities so far, even showcasing the power of Wood Release, but his most dangerous ability is quite clearly the Tailed Beast Beam. By utilizing the power of a miniature Tailed Beast Bomb from his eye, Jura can shoot it almost like a laser at incredibly high speeds. This attack cannot be perceived even by the most skilled ninjas, and it can take anyone out in just about a single hit. Even the likes of Boruto Uzumaki have been taken down with a single hit using this technique, and that is what makes it truly dangerous.

Boruto’s Rasengan Uzuhiko

Boruto Uzumaki has developed quite a lot of powerful abilities over the course of the Two Blue Vortex series, and one of them is his incredibly strong Rasengan Uzuhiko. Simply put, Boruto utilizes the rotation and the energy of the planet itself in his Rasengan and inflicts semi-permanent damage on his enemy. Those affected by Rasengan Uzuhiko are in a state of constant vertigo, losing all sense of semblance and balance. They cannot even use chakra properly, and that is what makes Uzuhiko incredibly dangerous.

Sarada’s Ohirume

Quite easily, the strongest jutsu that the Boruto series has revealed to the fans so far is Sarada Uchiha’s Ohirume. This is a Mangekyo Sharingan jutsu that allows Sarada to open up to four black holes. These black holes can be controlled in terms of size, depending on how much chakra she uses. Sarada can also control what these black holes attract and what they don’t, and she can also control the level of gravity they put out.

The absolute gravity of these black holes is immense. Even the Shinju cannot sustain such gravitational pull and are immediately pulled to the centre. Sarada then proceeds to crush them with immense mass and simply makes the black hole explode. More recently, Sarada took out 16 clones of Mamushi in a single hit with this jutsu, but it must also be remembered that it comes at a huge price of blindness.
